Airport Transfer Advice
Flight arrival time: what you need when booking an airport pickup
When you book an airport pickup, you only need your flight's scheduled arrival time (UK local). TSAY arranges when to meet your driver from that, subject to TSAY confirmation – you do not have to estimate immigration or baggage time yourself.

Scheduled flight arrival
Your flight arrival time is when the aircraft is scheduled to land, shown on your ticket in local UK time. Enter it from your ticket or airline app.
After landing there is still taxiing, immigration, baggage and customs. TSAY plans the meet time from your flight details, subject to TSAY confirmation.
Why the flight time is enough
With your flight number and scheduled arrival we can track the flight and plan the meet around immigration, baggage and the day itself. You only need flight details and the pickup date; TSAY confirms the rest.
Helpful notes for planning
- Border route (eGates or a staffed desk) and checked bags can go in special requests so we allow enough time.
- Travelling with children or older relatives? Note that in special requests.
- Tell us your flight details – the meet time is subject to TSAY confirmation.
Watch out for overnight flights
If your flight departs one day and lands the next, the pickup date is the UK date you land – not the date you take off. It's worth double-checking, especially on long-haul flights from Asia.
Departures work the other way round
For a drop-off, we start from your flight's departure time and your airline's recommended check-in time, then work backwards: time at the airport, the drive, and a buffer for traffic. That gives your pickup time from home.
