AI trip planner: screenshots, voice and transfers

To use the AI trip planner you first give one contact (email, phone or WeChat ID). We keep it with your trip notes as an enquiry lead, together with how you found us (campaign, referral or promo code).

Screenshots you upload are used only to read place names. They are processed in memory and are not stored; they are deleted as soon as the place names have been extracted.

Voice input uses your browser's own speech recognition (for example Google or Apple, depending on your browser). TSAY does not receive or store audio – only the text that appears in the box.

Your trip notes may be processed by an AI service provider acting on our behalf, only to extract place names. Prices are never set by the AI.

Your details are transferred to and stored in the United Kingdom. If you choose a WeChat group, they are shared with TSAY's WeChat group host to set up the group. We ask for your separate consent to this before the planner starts.

Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, email address, telephone number, preferred language and – if you choose to give it – your preferred group chat app (WeChat, WhatsApp or LINE) with your ID or number on that app.
  • Journey and tour details: dates, times, pickup and destination addresses, flight details, passenger and luggage numbers, special requirements you choose to share (for example children's ages or accessibility needs).
  • Agent attribution: an agent referral code, if you arrive through an agent's link or enter one.
  • Marketing attribution: campaign information such as UTM parameters, landing page and referring website.
  • Technical data: essential cookies and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies.

We do not ask for passport numbers or full payment card details through our website.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and arrange your journey.
  • To share necessary journey details with the partner driver or operator arranged to perform your journey.
  • To attribute bookings to agents and marketing channels.
  • With your separate consent, to send marketing messages.

Lawful bases

We use your information: to take steps at your request before a booking and to carry out our contract with you (enquiries, quotations and bookings); for our legitimate interests in running, improving and securing our service; to meet our legal obligations; and, where required, with your consent (for example optional analytics and marketing cookies). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share information with

  • The partner drivers and operators arranged by TSAY, to perform your journey. As booking agent, TSAY shares your name, contact details and journey details with the operator and driver responsible for your journey, only so they can fulfil your booking.
  • Service providers that help us run our business (for example automation, email and hosting providers) –.
  • Agents, limited to information about bookings they referred –.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and booking information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
